That's why we have set a $50 MILLION goal to incrementally secure an additional 1 BILLION pounds of rescued food annually.

The Food Rescue Fund: Your investment in a hunger-free future

To meet the staggering challenge of hunger and food waste, we established the Food Rescue Fund. With your support, we can:

  • We'll expand our network to source and distribute more fresh produce, dairy, and protein - the foods people visiting food programs want the most.

  • We'll collaborate with retailers and other businesses to increase food rescue pick-ups. Last year, we sourced more than 2 billion pounds of food through retail donations alone. There are still 800 million pounds of food ready to be rescued from retailers.

  • Our technology platform, MealConnect, is transforming food rescue. Your investment will help us scale this game-changing tool to more efficiently connect food programs and businesses.

  • By offsetting transportation costs and improving storage, we can get more purchased and donated food to people faster.

  • We'll provide capacity-building tools to help food banks source and distribute food more efficiently.
