Elizabeth Dennis is a Managing Director and the Head of Private Wealth Management, a division that oversees a portfolio of specialty businesses that focus on ultra-high net worth individuals, families and their foundations. In her role, Liz is responsible for International Wealth Management, which serves clients who reside outside of the United States, Global Sports and Entertainment, and the Client and Field Engagement Group. In addition, she also has responsibility for Family Office Resources, which offers an extensive suite of services to address the multifaceted complexities of managing significant wealth.
Prior to this, Liz served as Head of Strategic Client Management, a group that she currently retains. Strategic Client Management is responsible for facilitating client connections across the firm, focusing on the synergies between wealth management clients and the firm’s institutional capabilities.
Liz joined Morgan Stanley on the Debt Syndicate Desk in 2001. She spent 14 years executing and distributing debt offerings across the investment grade, high yield, project finance, aircraft financings, private placements, and emerging markets space in New York, London and Hong Kong. In 2015, Liz moved to Wealth Management to run the Capital Markets division.
Liz is a member of Morgan Stanley’s Securities Operating Committee and Wealth Management Operating Committee. Committed to talent development, she also led the Wealth Management and Global Capital Markets Leaders Program, an effort to motivate and retain top talent.
Liz earned a B.A. from Georgetown University. She and her husband live in Rye, New York with their three children.
