After earning her JD from The John Marshall Law School, Alina dedicated her time to advocating for survivors of gender-based violence at a Chicago-based nonprofit, and later joined the Chicago Public Schools and Chicago Transit Authority as an Equal Employment Opportunity Investigator. Currently, Alina is an Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Senior Manager for Feeding America National Office where she supports the development of a network-wide strategy and plan for EDI which will advance outcomes across communities and populations disproportionately impacted by food insecurity. In her role, Alina is also responsible for ensuring that the EDI vision is embedded into the culture of the national office through its systems, tools, behaviors, policies, structures, and practices.
