Job responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of geographic area data and collaborative partners:
• Research hunger statistics, community stakeholders and partners
• Compiles and evaluate census and hunger data
• Develops County and Partner profile document
• Supports Client Service Insight efforts; Link2Feed training and implementation
• Attends and engages in community meetings to ensure Food Bank of the Rockies’ mission is communicated, while fostering and strengthening relationships and establishing collaboration between community groups
• Interactions to be conducted with Neighbor Centered and Culturally Responsive lens
• Messaging Food Bank of the Rockies’ menu of services to support community needs
• Conduct compliance partner reviews, as needed
• Supports Neighbor Centered efforts through surveying, hosting focus groups and data collection, inputting pertinent information into Food Bank of the Rockies’ CRM platform
• Maintains knowledge of Food Bank of the Rockies’ hunger relief programs and training resources
• Identifies meal gaps and/or potential partners
• Coordinates and makes connections with appropriate hunger relief program
• Supports community with strategic hunger relief plans
• Conducts quarterly metric assessments to ensure assigned goals are achieved
• Strategically plans and recommends partner consolidation actions with the objective of increasing food distribution pounds/meals and alleviating or minimizing overhead transportation and/or associated expenses
• Facilitates capacity building application process from partners to increase storage, transportation, or other operational barriers to increase food they can distribute in their communities
• Serves as the primary point of contact with online training vendor, NeoGov; create communications and support account activation along with others within the programs department
• Prepares briefings, newsletters, reports and presentations for potential partnering organizations, donors, internal senior management members and other governing parties.
• Coordinates with Development team members to ensure compliance methods are in place with grant requirements and evaluations of program outcomes
• Maintains confidentiality of sensitive and privileged (neighbor/donor/employee) information and protects organization operations

Application qualifications

Education and Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree a plus; or equivalent work-related experience.
• 2-5 years’ experience successfully leading projects or programs
• Non-profit experience preferred
• Comfortable speaking and presenting to a group
• Extensive experience using Microsoft Office Suite; advanced knowledge of Excel preferred
• Experience using collaborative tools for file storage and sharing, meeting scheduling, and virtual collaboration; prior experience with SmartSheet a plus
• Must have valid driver’s license and ability to drive a company vehicle

• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Ability to communicate persuasively and articulately both verbally and in writing
• Ability to represent Food Bank of the Rockies with professional poise; ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituents
• Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) strongly preferred

Expected Hours of Work:
This role is a non-exempt full-time position working approximately 40 hours per week. Work schedules may vary each week and consist of weekdays, evenings, and Saturdays. A flexible work schedule is available with the option to work
