Join our team at the Food Bank of Wyoming as a Programs Manager, where you will lead, support, and collaborate on the planning, implementation, and evaluation of our comprehensive hunger relief programs. These programs span Partner Support, Government Programs, Food For Kids, Mobile Pantries, and Outreach. You will ensure compliance with Feeding America, USDA, and internal guidelines while working closely with leadership to align our initiatives with the organization’s strategic plan and budget. This role is pivotal in driving our mission to alleviate hunger across Wyoming.

Job responsibilities

• Maintain thorough knowledge of the functions, operations, and regulations of hunger relief programs governed by Feeding America, USDA/FNS, and the State of Wyoming
• Manage WY Programs staff and support them in accomplishing annual goals and providing outstanding service to partners. Model core values in daily behavior and help staff to develop and grow in capacity and capability
• Provides oversight and support for staff responsible for Commodities Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) and The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP): recruit distribution sites; analyze metrics; ensure compliance
• Responsible for WY Mobile Pantry and Food for Kids programs; identifying new partners based on need, training, funding allocation, menus and ordering, reporting, and working with Operations on execution.
• Responsible for maintenance and oversite of partner files; manage monitoring and compliance activities in accordance with Feeding America, State of Wyoming, and Food Bank of Wyoming/ Rockies' policies for all existing agencies
• Coordinate with Development staff to ensure compliance methods are in place with grant requirements and evaluations of program outcomes
• Utilize CERES and Link2Feed database to oversee the maintenance of current partner information, check inventory, grants, numbers served, and create monthly reports as needed
• Ensure strong partners are in place through recruiting, capacity building, and providing strong customer service across Wyoming to ensure equitable distribution of food
• Oversee Help Desk team with the goal of excellent customer service, communication and partner support and training
• Take appropriate action with any grievances or non-compliance issues regarding Food Bank of Wyoming/ Rockies' practices, standards, policies, or regulations
• Assists with executing the strategic plan, meeting fiscal year goals and program requirements
• Research, evaluate, and compile data in conjunction with CERES Inventory software system to ensure equitable meal distribution in counties
• Be informed of trends through the Feeding America Network; relationships with outside organizations; networking, and attending community meetings
• Participate in community meetings to build awareness of Food Bank of Wyoming partners and hunger relief programs to increase participation and distribution of food to those facing hunger
• Ensure regular in person, phone, and e-communications with all partners and status meetings with top partners or partners that need additional support
• Handle confidential information with discretion and care, ensuring the privacy and respect of employees, volunteers, partners, donors, or others

Required Qualifications:
• Associates degree or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum 2-4 years’ experience in roles of progressive supervisory responsibility
• Minimum 2 years of public facing role and relationship building
• Prior experience working with non-profit organizations and low-income communities preferred
• Extensive experience using Microsoft Office Suite and online technologies
• Experience using collaborative tools for file storage and sharing, meeting scheduling, and virtual collaboration preferred
• Must have a valid driver's license

Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time, exempt position. Work schedules may vary weekly, and occasional evenings and weekends may be required. Some travel is required, roughly 25% of the time. A flexible work schedule is available, but this is primarily an in-person work position.
