As a Marketing and Communications Coordinator, you will assist in marketing CFBNJ’s message across several mediums, including video, digital, social media, and print. With responsibilities ranging from content creation for social media to designing marketing materials and documenting events, this position requires a mix of creativity and organizational skills.
Design various print and digital marketing pieces (social media graphics, flyers, event toolkits, presentation templates, invitations, etc.)
Serve as the primary content creator for the organization’s TikTok account by shooting, editing, and posting videos, staying up to date on trends, and support strategies.
Assist with the management of CFBNJ’s social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn) by producing content and helping with community management.
Suggest video content ideas and producing videos from start to finish, including planning, scriptwriting, scheduling/coordinating, filming, and editing.
Assist with documenting the organization’s programs, accomplishments, events, and personal stories through storytelling, photography, and videography to share with stakeholders.
Write social media captions, newsletter articles, and blog posts that conform to SEO guidelines.
Manage the monthly newsletter including creating and organizing content.
Coordinate with vendors and various departments to develop/order organization merchandise.
Maintain the organization’s collateral shelves, the department’s shared file drive, and Canva account.
A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field
Strong graphic design, video, written and verbal communication skills
Flexibility, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines
Proficient in Adobe programs for graphic design and video editing including Premiere, InDesign, Photoshop
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 programs including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
Collaborative spirit, as this role interfaces with every department across the organization to help meet organizational marketing/promotional needs
Proven success with social media content creation, strongly desired
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license required for travel to event sites
