Description

 As an IT Project Manager, you will provide operational and consultative support on cross functional technology and process initiatives aligned to the organization's strategic plan and use your expertise in project planning and execution to support the delivery of technology initiatives across the organization, which includes but is not limited to key functional areas. This role is focused on project management at the enterprise level and requires skills in project management, project planning, capacity utilization, project execution, change management, issues tracking, and communicating to key stakeholders and subject matter experts.

Job responsibilities

Schedule and lead meetings with relevant parties to turn requirements and goals into project plans. This involves active listening, asking clarifying questions, and documenting the outcomes of these discussions. 
Manage the process around the execution of Project Plans and ensure adherence to budget, timeline, and scope: Monitor progress regularly, track expenses, and adjust plans as needed to keep IT projects on track. Keep all team members informed of progress and any deviations from the plan.
Actively monitor for any issues or risks that may arise during project execution and work with the team to address them promptly. This might involve brainstorming solutions, reallocating resources, or escalating issues to higher management when necessary. Follow CFBNJ's project methodology and ensure that all team members understand and follow it. This could involve providing training or resources to support compliance.
Manage the testing, training, and communication strategies to ensure that all team members and key stakeholders are equipped with the necessary knowledge and information to perform their roles effectively. 
Plan for ongoing support and maintenance of the project deliverables post-launch. This includes preparing documentation, training support staff, and establishing procedures for handling user inquiries or issues. 

Application qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a business, technical, scientific, or related discipline and at least 5 years of experience in a project management capacity or 13 years of experience in a project management capacity
Ability to work independently and achieve goals.
Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
Experience with systems development life cycle activities to manage, plan, design, implement, test and deliver information systems and strategies. 
Experience leading systems solutions discussions and turning that discussion into actionable tasks to achieve the stated objectives. 
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. 
Ability to develop relationships with stakeholders and to understand their needs through excellent listening and effective written and verbal communication.
