Description

As a Facilities Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing a team of 5-7, in accordance with overall company policy which includes hiring and training new staff; setting goals and objectives; developing staff to maximize potential; and monitoring staff performance including performance reviews and events set-ups.

Job responsibilities

Supervise and manage the maintenance, repair, and cleaning of the organization’s facilities. 
Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to ensure the efficient operation of equipment, plumbing, electrical systems, and other building components. 
Coordinate and monitor company events and room-set ups. 
Monitor and control inventory of supplies and equipment needed for facility maintenance. 
Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and address them proactively. 
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and repairs. 
Collaborate with other departments to ensure facilities meet operational needs and safety requirements. 
Reviews budgets, estimates, labor, materials and other related costs for maintenance and repairs.  
Oversees ground maintenance including snow removal, landscaping, and storm water management. 

Application qualifications

At least 3-5 years of supervisory experience in facility management or similar role.  
HVAC/R certification and/or Black Seal certification a plus  
Knowledge and experience in building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general construction.  
Strong leadership and supervisory skills with excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.  
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.  
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.  
Experience in a non-profit, social service or warehouse environment is a plus.
