Feeding America’s Signature Partners support us year-round with an annual financial commitment of between $500,000 and $999,999.
Ameriprise Financial
Ameriprise Financial is dedicated to utilizing the firm's resources, talents and volunteer time to improve the lives of individuals and communities. Aligned with its giving priority of meeting basic needs, the company has responded to increased demand on food banks -- and the need for long-term solutions to domestic hunger -- by providing a $500,000 grant to Feeding America. Ameriprise Financial also works with Feeding America and its affiliate organizations to match its employees and advisors to local programs across the country, with the goals of dedicating more than 50,000 volunteer hours to hunger relief efforts and helping provide 3.5 million meals in 2009.
Chevron
With their $600,000 Chevron acknowledges that "the need for urgent assistance as well as long-term aid is clear”, and has pledged to “continue to look for ways to support our communities in these difficult times”. They remain committed to providing assistance to the disaster relief efforts along the U.S Gulf Coast, where Chevron has had a long presence, and in the Caribbean, where Chevron has marketing operations under the Texaco brand.
General Mills, Inc.
General Mills Foundation
General Mills has been a longstanding partner of Feeding America in the fight against hunger. As the number of Americans in need of food assistance continues to rise, General Mills has committed additional resources to help Feeding America provide food to more people. General Mills and Feeding America are excited to be engaging in a major collaborative initiative in 2009 to raise both funds and awareness in our work to meet the increased need.
Procter & Gamble Fund
Procter & Gamble has partnered with Feeding America for more than 20 years, providing essential products, support for child hunger programs and disaster services for those in need. Many essential P&G products cannot be purchased with food stamps, making Procter & Gamble’s partnership and product contributions that much more valuable to Feeding America’s Network members. P&G considers Feeding America to be a significant partner in the Company’s Live, Learn and Thrive global cause, which improves life for more than 50 million children every year.
