Bank of America

Recently, Bank of America took a leadership role to address the increased demand for emergency food nationwide by providing a $1 million grant to Feeding America. Bank of America is a longstanding supporter of food banks across the country, contributing more than $900,000 in local grants and donating nearly 10,000 associate volunteer hours in 2008 alone. The bank’s support will help local community food banks to put food on the tables of those in need. This is just one example of the bank’s support for communities during challenging times.

“Bank of America remains focused on providing relevant, meaningful support to help individuals and families navigate difficult times. Ensuring vulnerable populations have access to basic services is a critical component to revitalizing our nation’s economy.  Our partnership with Feeding America will help support their efforts to provide food and groceries to the 36 million Americans who are having enormous difficulty making ends meet.”
