An NFL linebacker, travel enthusiast and all-around Renaissance man, Dhani Jones’ appetite for world knowledge continues to captivate audiences on Travel Channel. Merging two of his greatest passions, travel and sports for season two of original series, DHANI TACKLES THE GLOBE, Dhani explores how traditional sports directly impact some of the most vibrant cultures around the world.
Dhani is best known for his career in the NFL, where over the past ten years he has played for the New York Giants, Philadelphia Eagles, and currently, the Cincinnati Bengals.
Off the field, Dhani has been a frequent contributor to ESPN’s Cold Pizza, hosted the Emmy winning ESPN series Timeless, and has appeared on numerous television shows including The Colbert Report, the Carson Daly Show and on CNN. Dhani has also been featured in several print publications including the LA Times, USA Today, Men’s Journal and Fortune Magazine.
An ardent philanthropist, Dhani is currently a member of the Entertainment Council for Feeding America, and is an active supporter of several other charitable organizations.
With hobbies such as writing poetry, oil painting, wood working, fashion design, photography and playing classical music, Dhani’s love of the arts and global travel adventures sustain him during the football off-season.
Dhani is a Maryland native and attended the University of Michigan. He currently lives in both Cincinnati and San Diego.
