Jessie is a grandmother who grew up in the Mississippi Delta. Her life changed after she was diagnosed with both dementia and a debilitating muscular disease. No longer able to work, and unable to rely on her disability check to cover her bills, she turned to Mississippi Food Network, Inc.’s Pinelake Food Pantry for help. She shared her story with me during a trip to the pantry.
