Deadly tornadoes have struck the southern U.S. in six states - Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, Arkansas, Virginia and Tennessee. There have been many fatalities and the devastation is severe. This is in addition to recent flooding due to storms in Indiana.

Our food banks -- in the affected areas and across the U.S. -- are ready to help victims in need of food assistance as well as the daily disaster of hunger in America that affects 50 million people.

Thanks to our 2011 Disaster Relief Partners who have stepped up to help in our efforts.
