"Feeding America should be the number one top priority on all our agendas and I'm proud to be taking action."

Ben HarperBorn in Southern California, Harper began playing guitar as a child, gravitating eventually to the acoustic slide guitar. He released the limited edition LP Pleasure and Pain in 1992 and his major label debut, Welcome to the Cruel World, followed in 1994. Harper’s unique blend of rock, soul and funk won over critics and fans alike and with 1995’s Fight For Your Mind, he became a mainstay at AAA and college radio. The Innocent Criminals, his supporting band, were introduced on 1997’s The Will To Live. The success of the subsequent Burn to Shine landed the band two headlining world tours and an opening slot on Dave Matthews Band’s 2000 summer tour. Two live releases book-ended Diamonds on the Inside and, in 2004 Harper recorded the Grammy-winning album There Will Be a Light with the Blind Boys of Alabama. He released the double album Both Sides of the Gun in 2006 and followed it with 2007’s Lifeline, recorded over 7 days in Paris. His latest release with new band Relentless7, White Lies For Dark Times, is a timeless American rock record coming out May 19 on Virgin Records.
