Position Description
Located in Grove City in a new LEED Gold certified building completed in 2009, this exciting position is part of a twelve member Development team of professionals.
Job Responsibilities
Reporting to the VP of Development, the Grants Manager is responsible for managing the MOF grant process including: research, prospect identification, and preparing, submitting, tracking and reporting for grant proposals seeking funding to further the Mission of Mid-Ohio Foodbank.
Application Qualifications
Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work and educational experience; minimum two years’ experience in prospect research and identification, grant proposal preparation, data collection and analysis, outcome measurements and reporting results; knowledge of community, corporate and family foundations in MOF service area; demonstrated knowledge of fundraising and proven success of goal attainment; knowledge of grant research and proposal writing practices and principles; proficiency with Microsoft tools, excellent written and oral communication skills. Candidates must possess excellent research, writing, proof reading, planning, organizing, conceptual and strategic/critical thinking skills; must be able to communicate in a compelling and succinct manner; must have the ability to work independently as well as with a team and must be able to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and be flexible to changing priorities.
