Located in Grove City in a new LEED Gold certified building completed in 2009, this exciting position is part of a twelve member Development team of professionals.
Job Responsibilities
Reporting to the VP of Development, the Director of Corporate Relations is responsible for developing and executing specific strategies, goals, and timetables for the successful cultivation and solicitation of funds from the corporate community in central and eastern Ohio, and throughout the U.S. Partnering with other agency departments to grow corporate involvement and support and providing strategy and budget recommendations to the Vice President, Development.
Application Qualifications
Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree required in related field; valid OH Driver’s license or ability to obtain one within three months of employment; at least five years of relevant and recent fundraising experience in a nonprofit organization. Proposal writing experience and demonstrated experience building and maintaining effective working relationships with stakeholders and partners; knowledge of corporations and their giving officers in the MOF service area; knowledge of corporate philanthropy and marketing partnership practices; knowledge of donor cultivation and solicitation principles and processes; proficiency with Microsoft Office tools. Ability to develop strategic relationships with donor organizations and to research prospects and their giving guidelines. Strong oral and written communication skills and persuasion and the ability to represent MOF with professionalism when interacting with donors, partners and prospects.
