Position Description

The Administrative Assistant’s primary job duties include multiple accounting and reporting functions including accounts payable, receivable and grant reporting. The Administrative Assistant will do the bookkeeping for the organization and be responsible for general office duties. Strong computer, writing and accounting skills are required. Attention to detail is critical.

Job Responsibilities

  • Accounts payable and receivable data entry
  • Coordinating payables for payment
  • Coordinating bank deposits
  • Filing all business documents
  • Assembling payroll and sending to payroll company
  • Reconciling bank statements each month
  • Preparing documents for the audit
  • Compile data for grant reports
  • Submit grant reports in a timely manner
  • Respond to phone calls and e-mails concerning IFBA programs
  • Other general office duties
  • Other duties as assigned

Application Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office including, Word, Excel, Access and Peachtree
  • Telephone skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently
  • Significant work experience in the area of accounting
