Feeding America, the nation’s leading domestic hunger relief organization is releasing the results of a massive new report on February 2. HUNGER IN AMERICA 2010, the largest study ever conducted of food assistance in the U.S, provides comprehensive and statistically valid data on the national charitable response to hunger and the people served by food pantries, soup kitchens, and shelters in the Feeding America network.
Produced every four years, the study is extremely detailed, with data from over 61,000 interviews with food banks clients and surveys of 37,000 feeding agencies.
