Position Description
To provide administrative support and project management to the Director of Grant Administration in managing grants administered by Feeding America.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and program support for all grant programs administered by Feeding America.
- Provide support for Director of Grant Administration as needed – assist with coordination of meetings, conference calls and communication.
- Produce mailings, award letters, declination letters, mass communication to grant applicants and grantees.
- Manage grants management databases for tracking grant applicants and grantees.
- Provide a high level of assistance to grant applicant inquiries.
- Work with grantee organizations in grant compliance and follow-up of grant requirements.
- Handle all tasks related to the grant application process and maintaining files.
- Manage intranet content (RFPs, grantee list, resource area, etc.);
- Undertake and assist with special projects as needed.
- Some minimal travel may be required.
- Provide relief for the Receptionist.
Application Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent. Some college preferred.
- 3 years experience in administrative support.
- Ability to multi-task with a strong sense of meeting deadlines and follow-up.
- Must exercise strong customer service and diplomacy skills.
- High degree of professionalism, flexibility and initiative.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications. High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access a plus.
