Feeding America Scores in 99th Percentile on Health Survey conducted by Morehead Associates
The Feeding America national office believes that satisfied and engaged employees are critical to helping Americans who struggle with hunger. To ensure we are cultivating the best-possible work environment to fuel our mission, we annually conduct an organizational health survey of all employees. This survey asks questions regarding job satisfaction, management, co-workers and more. We are pleased to report that our 2009 results far outpaced those of other profit and nonprofit organizations, with an overall score in the 99
th percentile. One of our highest-scoring items was employee agreement with the statement “I am proud to tell people I work for this organization”—a true testament to the strength of our work environment and mission.
We are always mindful that our ability to achieve this mission relies upon the faith and trust of the general public. As an organization we constantly strive to meet the highest standards of excellence and operate under a code of business and professional ethics that honors our public support.
